He didn't knew what to say to her, consoling her with words would be the last thing she wants so he kept quiet until the girl came back to him with hands full of daisies with the same smile she held on to.
" Here.. She prefers Lilies but she likes daisies too.. "
The girl stated as she handed over lilies to the boy who took it and stared at it for a minute and gazed back to her.
"Na-ra-"
" let's go then. We're already late. "
The girl interrupted the boy before he could speak and the next second she was already few steps ahead of him. Seo-yul looked at the flowers and back to the girl with a soft gaze and started to follow her steps.
When the two of them reached the place where cho-yeong and them meet it was a different atmosphere than everyday, the warm breeze that came upon them everyday has changed to cold the uneasiness was filled in the air.
" cho-yeong -ah~"
Na-ra called out to the girl who is standing couple of steps away turning her back away from them however seeing that she isn't responding Na-ra calls out again and this time Na-ra notices the unsheathed sword that were in cho-yeong's hand which she was gripping hard on to.
" cho-yeong, why aren't you saying anything?? Yeong-ah what's with the sword?? Were you practising?? "
Na-ra asked as she took a step closer to the girl but the next second a sword was pointed to Na-ra's neck which made her eyes go wide in suprise,seeing this seo-yul came infront of Na-ra the next second not knowing what is happening just like Na-ra.
" yeong-ah, what are you doin-"
" The flower of daeho....How could you do this to me...Na-ra from jang family and yul from seo family.... Do not ever come back here.. "
Na-ra was about to reply until she saw cho-yeong's face which was filled with hatred and betrayal, her eyes were red with the tears she dropped her, hands were gripping the sword that is inches away from Na-ra's neck. Na-ra 's eyes started to tear up her hands were wavering... She didn't know what to do... In cho-yeong's eyes she was someone who just betrayed her even though she didn't know what did she do that gone wrong.
" w-wait c-cho - yeong-ah -"
" if we meet again I'll kill two of you.."
Cho-yeong stated her last words for them with clenching her heart from inside for sake of her revenge .The two of them were just mages children which she loathed the most even when in inside they were the most valued relation she ever had but the betrayal cutted a deep wound in her heart only to give another reason to trust no one but herself.
Na-ra was completely silent at that moment not knowing what to even say to make the girl to stay in her life after this..
Cho-yeong after seeing the two of their face which was still in shock she turned her head wanting to walk away from the two of them. Only then the boy came into senses.
" wait-"
Before he could even speak cho-yeong turned and sliced the flowers which he held out of her and in the process unintentionally Na-ra's forearm were slit a little bit, it slited slightly on her forearm and the cloth that were over it. Seeing this cho-yeong's eyes widened with regret but not allowing her emotions to take over she turned back again and walked away not even turning her gaze once to look at them back again.
A drop of blood started to come from her wound staining the cloth over it but never once Na-ra looked over the wound since another wound was already formed in her heart much bigger. Couple of minutes two of them just stood there still staring at the direction of the girl disappeared and after more minutes passed seo-yul turned to walk back to daeho since everything was over.
" let's go... "
The boy stated as she took the girl's hand seeing the girl is still standing still staring at the direction cho-yeong walked off.
" you don't have anything to say to me?"
The girl asked dangerously calm looking at the boy with tears filled eyes, the boy stared at her with sadness filling in his eyes as he shook his head in no.
" Nothing? Yah! I just ruined our friendship and you don't want to even yell at me!!"
The girl screamed at the boy with tears pooling through her eyes as the boy pulled her hands again and shook his head in no again.
" Why don't you?!?! I'm the reason she knew it!! I'm the one who told her I'm the flower of daeho or else she wouldn't know!! Just yell at me! Stop being nice to me over and over again!!"
" Na-ra , it's not you fault... Let's go.. "
" why are making excuses for me?.. From the start why are you nice to me?.. Why can't you be like everyone and criticize me everyone else?!?"
" OKAY! YOU!YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! I WAS NICE TO EVERYONE ELSE TOO BUT YOU HAD TO TAKE IT WRONGLY! BECAUSE OF YOU I LOST HER TOO! BECAUSE OF YOU EVERYONE WHO IS CLOSE TO YOU IS LIKE THIS!! "
The boy finally snapped and only seconds later he knew what did he just said to the girl.
" no, Na-ra -"
" right... I wanted this. I wanted you to do this so i can finally go. Yul-ah you are right because of me everything will fall apart... Yul-ah you deserve everything... But if you are close to me i will destroy everything... So, yul-ah let's stop being friends.. "
" Na-ra, wait i didn't mean -"
" I'm sorry .. For everything.. "
The girl finally said with slight chuckle as she walked off leaving the boy alone standing there while tears dropped from his eyes to the daisies that were sliced on the ground.
